As President of The Federal Savings Bank, Javier Ubarri’s responsibilities not only include the leadership of depository organization but also the bank lending portfolio, which includes the bank’s signature products such as residential construction, individual taxpayer identification number (ITIN), personal and bridge loans.
Javier’s 20+ years of high-profile banking experience includes almost 17 years at Banco Popular North America, where he played a key role in managing the bank’s expansion across the United States. During his tenure, he was instrumental in growing their Texas region from a single location with $40 million in assets to six locations with $320 million in assets within just four years. Javier holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Chicago. He is also a certified public accountant.
