Matthew Sullivan grew up in northern Westchester, NY, in the 60’s and 70’s. He wrestled in high school and college, and Matt believes that prepared him to earn his degree in Chemistry and, ultimately, the rigorous lifestyle of a mortgage professional. Starting out in the 1980’s as a loan officer in White Plains, Matt quickly evolved into branch management. In that role, he was responsible for hiring, marketing, process management, pricing and programs. He has managed mortgage bankers, processors, underwriters, closers and appraisers before eventually transitioning to wholesale mortgage lending. After a bumpy road during the Great Recession, as it is called, Matt returned to the position of a retail loan officer in 2012. Since then, Matt continues to hone his trade.
Over the years, Matt has volunteered as a little league coach (for 13 years,) religious instructor, has done fund raising for various charities and schools and has participated in many civic organizations including the Ancient Order of Hibernians, Knights of Columbus and the Wawayanda Creek Crew. Matt’s daughter and son are off the payroll and recently married.
