After graduating from the United States Military Academy and serving as a Combat Engineer Platoon Leader and Task Force Engineer in the Army’s 10th Mountain Division, Dave Westlake embarked on a business career that included senior leadership roles across multiple logistics and global manufacturing companies. In 2005, he graduated with an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and launched a software company that he scaled across 4 continents while also mentoring and advising numerous other tech entrepreneurs. Dave left the corporate world in 2024 to follow a desire to help people on a personal level achieve their family dreams and goals.
With his extensive professional background, Dave joined The Federal Savings Bank in 2024 as a Mortgage Banker, helping families and the Veteran Community in all 50 states. His knowledge and experience in business, leadership, and the military have provided him with the tools to help each of his clients through one of the largest financial decisions of their lifetime. He is highly accomplished and has everything it takes to help people achieve their dream of homeownership.
Originally from Wisconsin, Dave has lived all over the country with the Army and different corporate roles over the past 30 years. He currently lives in Chicago’s North Shore area with his family and 2 dogs, frequently returning to Wisconsin to visit family. While he enjoys outdoor sports like upland game hunting and fly fishing, his true passion nowadays is spending time with his wife at an ice rink watching their youngest daughter play hockey.
