Keshav Singh has more than 10 years of residential mortgage banking experience. Over the past several years, Keshav has become an expert in dealing with affinity lending clients with a profound interest in first time home buyers. He has worked with his counterparts to service several affinity groups, such as The United Federation of Teachers (UFT), the New York City Police Department (NYPD), U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and Columbia University.
Keshav takes a hands on approach in dealing with his clients from the initial inquiry, to getting the borrower pre-approved, and eventually, closing the loan. He firmly believes the more information his clients have the better equipped they will be while going through the mortgage process. He takes pride in working closely with his clients to discuss all possible loan options available to them before they decide what options would best benefit them. One of Keshav’s many goals as a mortgage professional is to help as many people as he can. As a Caribbean-American, he wants to utilize the many resources available through the Bank to help other Caribbean-Americans living in the United States educate themselves about the mortgage process and ultimately achieve the dream of home ownership.
Keshav migrated with his parents from Guyana at a very young age. His family settled in Brooklyn, New York, and he eventually re-located to Queens, where he realized the American dream by purchasing his first home. When he is away from work he enjoys spending time with his two children.
