Norman A Ellis was born in Manhattan, New York and studied at Carnegie Mellon University, SUNY Stony Brook, and New York University. He has enjoyed a multi-faceted mortgage and real estate career, including two decades as an originator of both residential and commercial loans. Now he continues to build his reputation as a reliable mortgage banker, helping his clients achieve the home of their dreams.
Over the years, Norman has been able to originate various types of residential loans. These include difficult New York City cooperative and condominium, multi family, and mixed-use properties. His commercial experience includes multi-million dollar underlying cooperative loans, condominium tower acquisition and construction loans, and bulk end user loans as the exclusive provider for new condominium projects. Because of his extensive knowledge of the available programs, problem solving skills, and commitment to excellence, Norman ensures his clients receive superior guidance as they pursue one of the most personal investments of their lifetime.
Outside of work, Norman enjoys playing the piano and creating jazz and classical music. He also studies and teaches T’ai Chi Chuan. He is a long-time member of the Board of Directors at the Tai Chi Chuan Center where he is an instructor for their free classes in Bryant Park, a program now in its 15th year.
