Rachel Davies graduated from the University of Utah in 2002 with a degree in business and Spanish. While earning her degree, she worked in marketing at a startup company that specialized in bridge loans for manufactured homes and became fascinated with the mortgage industry. Wanting to learn more about the nuts and bolts of how mortgages work, she took on a processing role then became an underwriter. Although she enjoyed learning how to structure loans and assess financial data, Rachel was missing the one-on-one interactions with clients, so she decided to become a loan officer where she was able to use her experience as a processor and underwriter to help clients understand their options and make an informed decision.
Rachel’s real passion is working with people and with over 20 years of experience in the mortgage industry, she has gained real expertise. She has helped her clients navigate the highs and lows that come with economic turmoil, changes in the mortgage industry, rising interest rates, and skyrocketing inflation. Her mission is to be not only a loan officer, but a trusted financial advisor. She is committed to assessing her clients’ short- and long-term goals, helping them create a positive credit profile, and maintaining close contact with them from application to closing and all the way to home ownership.
Rachel currently resides in Utah with her husband of 21 years and their four children, three dogs, a handful of chickens, and a cat. She loves all the outdoor adventures and National Parks that Utah has to offer. The family enjoys skiing, wake surfing, scuba diving, running, hiking, and camping especially. Among all of this, Rachel is a breast cancer survivor and works actively in the local cancer community, PTA, and school community councils to help prevent teen suicide which is a cause she holds near and dear to her heart.
