As the Senior Vice President of Sales Operations and Customer Experience, Howard Korey manages the marketing, lead management, data analytics and strategic planning for the consumer direct mortgage division and is a key leader in ensuring marketing compliance across the bank. He oversees the borrower survey and complaint management programs with a goal of improving the customer experience while ensuring loan officer compliance during customer interactions.
With over 30 years of experience in strategic marketing and relationship management, Howard held positions in marketing and client development at Fortune 500 companies including GE, AT&T and HSBC. He attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Psychology.
Howard is an empathetic leader who believes that accountability paired with not taking things too seriously brings out the best in people. He sets high and clear performance expectations for his team and bundles them with a collaborative approach, trust and full support.
Outside of work, Howard enjoys volunteering, cooking, running, traveling and collecting sports memorabilia. A father to two daughters, he resides in Chicago with his wife, a writer.
